We are
devoted to the   preservation
of our abundantly
rich heritage, bequeathed to us by our pioneering ancestors who traveled the Wilderness Trail, over the Cumberland Gap into Kentucky.

Membership

Historical Society Membership shows an interest in our area which pervades  across generational lines and encompasses families in many states of our nation.   That interest propels and sustains our underlying educational program.

Our membership consists of individuals and families from many states as well as of prominent Genealogical and Public Libraries across the country.

Our aim is to have annual dues for Membership remain affordable.

Membership includes periodic mailing of the Museum publication,
Gateway Journal.

Individual - $25.00

Family  - $35.00

Life Membership - $300.00

Other than life memberships, all annual memberships run for one year from the date dues are paid.
Members are asked to check the expiration date on the mailing label and renew by that date.

We are proud of our building, but old buildings are often in need of repair and require continual maintenance.

This endowment fund is not intended for current expenses, but is essential to the long term maintenance and operational expenses incurred as well as any emergency expenses not in our current budget.

Although some of the donors to the Bell County Museum Endowment Fund  have wished to remain anonymous, several have named a person to honor or have given gifts in the name of a particular person for a special occasion.

We appreciate those individuals and the corporate organizations that have donated to the Endowment Fund.
